(Chinese folk-art- China- Paper art).

Issued 1957, Peking, China, Handicraft and Art Service, Huozi Shudian.

Beautiful embossed front cover, original loose booklet and handbill sheet still present with the ten images.

Charming portfolio collection of ten wonderful paper cut-outs.Each still within the original fragile tissue paper wrapper. Remarkable survival, clean and fresh. Tiny minor light smudge to front cover, otherwise nearly as issued.

All are attractive and well-preserved examples. Spectacular little works of paper art. We know little about them other than we saw them, loved them, wanted to own them and so purchased them. Priced at under $30 each x 10.

Short video captures condition much better than words. Please watch prior to purchase to ensure a clear understanding of the group. Nicer lot than typical for the type and era.
