TRIESTE

Our rugs intentionally don't stand out, they step back to serve as background for the home you've created. The style is easy and informal. Classic and contemporary. Whether in cotton, water-hyacinth or jute you will be as comfortable sitting on them as standing on them. We blend the lighter and darker colorations of the water-hyacinth twine into a continuous warp woven across a cotton weft to achieve the mélange look of these easy-to-live-with rugs. The hollow-cored water-hyacinth twine has a natural give under foot that makes for pleasant walking in bare feet.
